This Thanksgiving, we express our gratitude to God for His constant love and care for us. We are truly thankful to the Lord for allowing us to serve Him as the body of Christ. As we look back on this year, one of Welcome to My Father’s House Ministries’ most significant accomplishments has been witnessing the impact of the investment in our students over the past seven years.
On November 4, we had the joy of seeing nine of our high schoolers graduate. Each step they took during the graduation ceremony
was accompanied by tears of joy from their parents and family members.
Many of these students needed more hope of completing a high school education. However, through God’s love, the generosity of His people, and the dedication of our teachers and leaders, a door was opened for them. We are sending out nine well-educated young men and women to Guatemala as a ministry. They will make a difference in their homes, churches, villages, and country. This is truly a miracle and a testament to God’s promise that He watches over the least of these.
We were also blessed to have 33 students and teachers attend the Mission Center for the annual High School Retreat hosted by WTMFH. It was a time for us to come together, share, reflect, and inspire the students. Despite facing various challenges and limitations, we encouraged them to focus on God, a miracle worker.
During this retreat, two of our students decided to accept Christ, and all of them were deeply moved by the movie “The Sound of Freedom.” This film raised their awareness about the difficult circumstances in similar villages, equipping them with the knowledge to protect themselves and the most vulnerable from predators who prey on them.
As we approach Thanksgiving, remember to express our gratitude to God. We are thankful for the gift of salvation through Jesus and His unwavering care and love for every one of us.
