Thursday was a beautiful and a blessed day, captivated by God’s love and the simplicity of true joy, our hearts are filled. ♥️
From hearing the enthusiastic “Amen” from everyone after hearing Carlos preach, to seeing everyone’s excitement when they saw Tom, and being together after almost three years of not meeting as a group, there were a lot of beautiful smiles as they enjoyed an amazing tamale lunch made with love by Carlos’ mom, Maricruz. We are so blessed.
When they received their Christmas care packages they couldn’t wait to open them, their faces looked hopeful and their eyes were wide open after they found the cookies, chocolate, and many other items in their white bags.
God’s love and care for His people comes in every shape and form. Many of these elderly people lost their spouses and loved ones these past 2 years, but that did not keep them from smiling and saying “Gloria a Dios” “Glory to God”! What a sweet feeling it is to see God’s peace and love!
